Welcome to JINYA Ramen Bar - Studio City, a culinary gem nestled in the heart of Studio City, California. Located at 11239 Ventura Blvd, this ramen haven is renowned for its exceptional blend of traditional Japanese flavors and innovative fusion dishes. As a food reviewer for Restaurant World, I am thrilled to introduce you to a dining experience that transcends the ordinary.
At JINYA, ramen is not merely a dish; it’s an art form. From the moment you step inside, the inviting ambiance exudes a cozy yet modern Japanese aesthetic, perfect for enjoying a delightful meal with friends and family. The restaurant is known for its vibrant atmosphere, skilled chefs, and attentive service that consistently impresses guests.
- Signature Dish: One of the highlights at JINYA Ramen Bar is the Birria Ramen—a tantalizing fusion that marries the bold flavors of Mexican birria with the rich, slurp-worthy goodness of Japanese ramen. This dish features slow-cooked birria beef, spiced beef and chicken broth, red onion, cilantro, and a squeeze of fresh lime, all for just $25.00. It's a must-try for any ramen enthusiast!
- Vegetarian and Vegan Options: For our plant-based diners, the Spicy Creamy Vegan Ramen and Flying Vegan Harvest are extraordinary choices. The former offers a flavorful vegetable broth with crispy garlic chips and thick noodles, while the latter incorporates Impossible meat for a deliciously satisfying experience, both priced around $22.60 - $23.80.
- Traditional Flavors: If you crave authentic taste, the JINYA Tonkotsu Black and Premium Tonkotsu Red ramen are essential. They feature a choice of pork broths enriched with perfectly cooked toppings like pork chashu, seasoned eggs, and nori. The depth of flavor in these dishes is commendable, satisfying even the most discerning palate.
As noted by customers like Krystina T. and Adam K., the service here is consistently rated as top-notch, enhancing the overall dining experience. Guests appreciate not only the delicious offerings but also the welcoming staff, who are eager to assist and ensure your visit is memorable.
For families, JINYA Ramen Bar goes the extra mile with a thoughtful kids’ menu, which includes a ramen bowl, a salad, and a delicious dessert to top off the meal. Shelia D. happily shared her pleasure that her little ones had a delightful first ramen experience, proving that this vibrant eatery caters to all ages.
With ample parking available and a variety of seating options—both indoor and outdoor—JINYA Ramen Bar stands out as a favored spot to satisfy your ramen cravings. Whether you dine in or take out, the bold flavors and comforting bowls promise to keep you coming back for more. I wholeheartedly recommend a visit to this charming ramen bar to experience the exquisite taste of Japan, right here in Studio City.

Jinya is always my favorite and I absolutely love the studio city location! The food is always delicious and so are the drinks but my favorite part about today was our server Nora. Really took care of us and definitely recommend her 100%.

My fave ramen in the valley. They also have a great kids meal - ramen, a salad, chicken, and ice cream.

This place is very nice looking shalt I say fancy! Me and my hyna enjoyed some delicious ramen at this beautiful place! The cooks took great care with our food and it is very tasty! The service is great and they make sure you are taken care of. The flavor is really good! Thank you team!

Took our babies to have their first ramen bowl and we were pleasantly surprised to see they have a kids menu.. $10 for small bowl of ramen, fries, side rice and meat, some chicken, cut up orange, lollipop, and ice cream at the end. The kids absolutely loved it all. Jackie was our server and she was so lovely and helpful. Love the cozy Japanese ambiance and decor. We'll definitely be back!

We like jinya ramen bar a lot. This is one of our favorite places to get ramen, especially in the Studio City area. It's a nice little ramen spot tucked inside the shopping complex that has Michaels, and home goods, etc. It's nice that there's parking in the structure below the building. It can be almost impossible to find street parking in this neighborhood. The ramen here is really good, they also do signature tapas. The prices are reasonable, and we never had any issues with the food that we've ordered here. Like I said, we love ramen and this is a great place to go. There is some indoor seating with a little bit of outdoor seating as well. You will probably have to wait if you want to sit down and eat in the restaurant. We usually get our food to go. We've never had any issues, the one time that they got our order incorrect by the time we had gotten back to the restaurant they had already identified that the order was incorrect and they comped the difference, and corrected the mistake. As I said we really like this place and we'll definitely be back the next time we're craving ramen.

The weather is cooling down and you know what that means...RAMEN! My husband ordered the Tonkotsu Black and I ordered the Shio Yuzu Ramen. The Tonkotsu broth is so thick and creamy. My shio Yuzu broth was also really delicious and I enjoyed the Yuzu flavor. Noodles in both bowls were consistent and yummy. I like that you are able to add additional items to your bowl. The portions they give you of the sides are huge! My bowl almost wasn't big enough. In fact, that's my only complaint is that portions here are pretty tiny. We ordered the tuna crispy rice and it only had three pieces. How do you share that between two people? I also thought it was a little on the greasy side, but the spicy tuna itself was pretty good! Service was fantastic! Kudos to the hostess and servers. On a weeknight there was no wait at all. Theres plenty of parking in the underground structure.
